Project Be Kind

A collaboration between Blossom World Society (BWS) and Leo Club of Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Leo Club NAP), this project aimed to impart right values such as kindness and appreciation through an art & craft workshop which comprised of hand lettering and pop-up card making activities.

The project was initiated, planned and led by youth leaders from Leo Club NAP and supported by a strong team of 30 youth volunteers. It was really heartening to see young people engaging children with lots of patience and encouraging words. They sure have made our society more gracious by their kind acts in a Saturday afternoon.

Children were inspired to make a card with rainbow and write words of kindness/appreciation in their cards to give to their loved ones. After the online workshop, they were encouraged to perform acts of kindness over the week to inculcate the good habit.

This on-line children‘s holiday program was successfully completed with the joint efforts of volunteers and staff of BWS, and the indispensable support of parents and children who had enjoyed this meaningful December event! A big thank you to all for your kind participation!
