Blossom World Fundraising 2021 has finally come to an end! Our first virtual live event was bittersweet indeed. With our crew struggling to move the programme online and offline and back online again due to the Heightened Alert Safe Management Measures. Nonetheless, we hope that you had a pleasant time during the event and perhaps gained deeper insights into what our organisation does. If you have missed out on the event, do not fret, you will still be able to catch the live video recording.

“While we were delivering to one of the homes, the beneficiary looked really happy and seemed to be almost close to tears. She continually thanked us for the help.”

The volunteers managed to clear away the unnecessary items, which filled 14 Heavy Duty green outdoor street bins, over that weekend (permission given by the beneficiary and their daughter), cleaned the house and chatted with the beneficiary’s daughter and grandchildren. The completion of the decluttering and cleaning would not be possible without everyone’s effort.

We are glad to have both existing and new members embark on the journey together at our Learning Space @ Virtual BYC to better understand our emotions, discover strategies to cope with stressful circumstances and manage others’ emotions tactfully.

Blossom World’s children department Joyous Learning Grove (Aljunied branch) held its first online mini-concert as the finale for its first series of online children courses.

About a total of 500 people attended Blossom Reunion Charity Gala Lunch that included guests, beneficiaries and youth leaders were cordially invited to participate in this pre-Chinese New Year lunch!

The 12th edition (2019) of the 2-Day Children’s Holiday Camp dubbed “An Amazing Journey” has been concluded successfully amidst an atmosphere full of familial warmth and joy.

Blossom World Society was pleased to be able to host the General Volunteers Association of Macao on last Friday to discuss and share different initiatives across the organizations in our collective efforts towards creating awareness to the detrimental effects of the prevalent environmental issue.
