Volunteer guidelines for Safe Management Measures
Blossom Home Refresh is a youth led project under the guidance of Blossom World Society (BWS). It is an annual BWS flagship event to enhance intergeneration cohesion and understanding through acts of service towards the pioneer generation via ‘refreshing’ their households.
Each household’s living conditions has been assessed together with the varying manpower required. Moreover, we are restricting the number of volunteers involved due to the pandemic.
Everyone plays an important role to adhere to the safe management measures for the well-being of our vulnerable beneficiaries and one another.
1. Volunteers are advised to be fully vaccinated to participate in this event and are require to show your vaccinated status on the day:
- An individual is considered “Fully vaccinated” means two weeks after receiving a full regimen of the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty or Moderna vaccines, or any of the vaccines on the WHO EUL listing, with the vaccination status updated in MOH’s national IT system
Where can I see my vaccination records?
The following groups of individuals will be able to see their vaccination records on HealthHub and TraceTogether from 10 Aug 2021:
Individuals who have obtained their Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty or Moderna under the National Vaccination Programme; Individuals who have received 1 dose of Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnatry, Modernaand subsequently two doses of Sinovac-CoronaVac under Sinovac after mRNA (SAM) programme; Individuals who have completed the necessary steps for their overseas Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnatry, Modernavaccination data to be ingested into the local IT systems
Individuals who have received Sinovac-CoronaVac locally and those who have completed the necessary steps for their overseas WHO EUL vaccination data (vaccines other than Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnatry, Moderna) to be ingested into the local IT systems will be able to access their vaccination records/status on the HealthHub app from 10 Aug 2021, and on TraceTogether app by late August 2021.
Vaccination status would be reflected 14 days after the completion of the final dose. For avoidance of doubt, Day 1 is taken as the day of the final of the vaccination and Day 15 is taken as the day the vaccination is effective.
2. Wearing of masks at all times and practice good personal hygiene.:
- Volunteers should maintain at least 1m distance from the beneficiary and minimum the interaction with the beneficiary. Mask on at all times during the course of work.
- Before the start of the volunteering, volunteers are to take their temperature and hand sanitizer before and after they serve the unit.
3. No cross-inter mingling between groups and volunteers:
- Volunteers are to be in their fixed team to serve the household allocated, with no inter-mingling across groups even though they may know each other.
4. TraceTogether-only Safe Entry:
TraceTogether-only (TT) Safe Entry is mandatory. Volunteers should download and activate their TT token or app throughout the day to facilitate accurate contact tracing.
