Blossom Oasis of Kindness

Today is a day full of sunshine, all thanks to your generosity in action and sincerity in service. Blossom oasis kindness in the northern part of Singapore -Toa Payoh!

Our enthusiastic Blossom Youth came together this Sunday morning full of energy to deliver lunch and handy items to 40 seniors beneficiaries under Happy People Helping People Community(HPHP). Thank you guys! Thank you Eileen from HPHP for your support! The seniors are indeed very friendly!

It’s my first time taking part in a physical volunteering event after so many months of break due to COVID-19. I felt extremely refreshed and fulfilled to have been able to give back to the community at large with my peers from school. I hope that with time, we can gradually look forward to more physical events with increased levels of interaction in closer proximity with the clients we serve. Looking forward to volunteering with BWS again ~

I am glad that I was able to play a part in doing something meaningful during this pandemic! The seniors were also very smiley which made it even more wholesome🥰 and I haven’t been able to do physical volunteering in a while so that’s a plus:D

Great appreciation to our sponsors for the masks, hand sanitisers and drinks and also our donors for cash donations, allowing our youth to have the opportunity to send goodwill and blessings on your behalf.

"We're together

Come join your hands in harmony

Everybody do what you're doing

Your smile will bring a sunshine day"

Lyrics Sunshine Day, Song by Osibisa

It’s comforting to know that many people are spreading kindness in their own ways to spark hope and inspiring more like-minded people around us.

More stories from our volunteers:

We would like to appeal for donation to support our cause in reaching out to more households that needed attention and help.

Have a story of an act of kindness that touched you? Share with us! Let us work together to share the graciousness in our community and inspire more to give. Down the road, compassion will definitely be part of Singaporean’s 5 Cs.
