Chinese New Year Goodie Bag Distribution

Blossom World Society kick-started the Lunar New Year with Goodie Bag Distribution to share the joy of festive season with underprivileged households. In the meantime, this event provided BWS an interactive platform in promoting & cultivating the spirit of giving & nurturing values such as kindness and gratitude. A total of 45 volunteers including UWEEI Singapore participated. This event was not just purely to pick up the Goodie Bag to be despatched to underprivileged households. Volunteers learned the secret of Happy Formula shared by Mr Ang Choon Tee, CEO of Blossom World Society. This was instantly transformed into action after learning the underlining principle of participating in this event. CNY cards in expressing their gratitude and well wishes were prepared by these volunteers to 79 underprivileged households.

One of the volunteers said "Thanks for giving me the chance to bring joy to others and ourselves as well as to let us reflect that we are very fortunate". Some volunteers revealed that the briefing was very useful when interacting with the beneficiaries. Volunteers are looking forward to the next event organised by Blossom World Society.
